How To Make A Gavel Cake
For my first endeavor at making cake pops, I have to say I'm pretty proud of the gavel shaped cake pops I made for a friend'south recent subpoena themed law schoolhouse graduation party. This fun dessert coordinated perfectly with all of my other graduation police force school subpoena party supplies and was the highlight of my party table. Well-nigh of the effort went into decorating the pops - check out how I made it work!
I used this uncomplicated cake pop recipe from Bakerella to get started. After I mixed the ingredients and cooled the batter, I molded each popular into the shape of a rough gavel and stuck a cake pop stick into each i. I stuck them into a slice of cream I painted ruddy and refrigerated them again earlier decorating. Meanwhile, I melted chocolate in the microwave (add a teaspoon of veggie oil and melt for 30 seconds at a fourth dimension), and then dipped each gavel in the chocolate.
I refrigerated the pops 1 more than time before decorating each one with some gold details. I but used a small paintbrush and some of this nutrient course decorating dust - I institute it at my local block supply store. Don't you lot dear how they turned out! Along with my gavel pops, I came up with a few more than dessert ideas that family unit and friends loved!
